FAFSA still has not figured out the proper way to rollout the “New FAFSA” and will be launching the form with limited use starting in December. Follow the timeline we have outlined for you below so never miss an important deadline. We begin in October and goes all the way to May of 2025. Because of the debacle this past year, most colleges will be extending their national commitment day beyond May 1st.

Checking college portals is a routine the student needs to get acquainted with and perhaps the parent should join in this practice since necessary follow up materials can be requested in order to complete the financial aid award.
