Second, watch how schools report medical school placement rates: a "90% placement" can mean very different things depending on the denominator (some schools only count students who completed all pre-reqs AND took the MCAT AND applied — which can be a small filtered group). Ask any school: "What percentage of students who declared pre-med as freshmen ultimately matriculate into medical school?" Third, this catalog covers 83 schools drawn from established pre-med discussions and program characteristics — it's curated, not exhaustive. The US has many more strong pre-med programs (Dartmouth, Tulane, William & Mary, Boston College, GW, and dozens of others).
